Caleb comes back in and immediately picks up his third foul (ticky tack but a dumb foul).
 
Heels hit some shots to build a lead. Way too many fouls called and way too many free throws missed.

Poor defense at buzzer gives up an easy layup to end the half.

Nice run the last 6 minutes after it was tied at 22. Heels scored 22 more the last 6 minutes. Even more impressive they did it without Caleb. Need to feed Veesaar and Stevensen. They don't have the size to stop them. Caleb will be back the second half. Need to hit some 3s, too.

Also, way too many foul calls.

Heels didn’t really capitalize, only 14-24 from the line (Veesaar and Bogavac a combined 5-10 FT).

Bogavac 1-6 for three. Rest of team 3 - 8.

Fortunately Radford was only 2-13 for three that frame.

Dixon had to play 9 minutes at PG that half and he did ok. Powell was ok as well. Young and High were rougher. But the main thing was those guys had to play together too long due to injuries and foul trouble.

Veesaar was a rock playing 19 of 20 minutes while the rest of the lineup was in flux.
 
Bumpy first half, adjusting to roster without Seth and dealing with foul trouble for Caleb. Coming off a big win against Kansas, not too surprising. Henri continues to look great. Will this be a second half team? Hopefully they pull away in the second.
