i had to get the funk out of my eyes after watching that. i'll be shocked if this team is anywhere near a contender too many flaws weak slow pg position and less than zero backup center. will win a bunch of games vs an acc full of bad to really bad teams which will make a bunch of hubert lovers swell with pride. oh how the mighty has fallen with such low expectations.

Chill bro. Our 09 and 05 teams had head-scratching losses where we looked like garbage. It happens. We looked crappy last night and still won by double digits.
 
i m as chill as you will find. this team isnt a contender thats all i care about no matter how much you bow down to hubert davis. the talent needed to be a contender is not there again
 
The next practice should be entirely devoted to working on free throws. The margin of victory could have been doubled with good FT shooting.
 
I was concerned with evans yesterday- looked scared to shoot almost. Was very hesitant and we needed his shooting and for him to be aggressive in the first half.

I think the issue is that he requires an extra second to get his shot off. He has a very slow release.
 
I know he’s 6’6” and Seth is only 6’3”, but Powell (from a distance, watching on TV) looks a lot like Trimble with the little goatee and the hair… and similar complexion. There were times last night I thought “thats Trimble, I thought he was injured!”
Is it just me, or does anyone else see the resemblance from afar?
