I'm good with that - as long as Seth comes back strong.
I recall last year when he went out - once he came back, he was NOT the same Seth we had earlier - before the injury. Never fully recovered to his first-of-season-self.
Hopefully, when he comes back, he's on fire - especially defensively - that's what was missing tonight.
With Seth out there tonight, Navy does NOT score 61... and there's a great chance we score more than 73

My biggest concern is they really don't have a backup for Stevensen and Veesaar. I guess when Trimble comes back Stevensen can be the 6th man and come in for Veesaar.

Unless Stevenson is going to be a 5 for 6-8 minutes per game, either High or Brown will have to get those minutes.

But other than that I think you're correct.
 
I didn't get to watch tonight's game and I only got to listen on the radio right as Navy started their run near the end of the game, so I'm probably not really prepared to knowledgeably discuss what happened tonight.

But it didn't sound like our best game from what I did hear.

Not their best, but I thought it was better than posters here. But, that could just be because I'm in love with CWilson's game.

Stevenson or Wilson will be the March backup center. That is basically assured at this point. Hubert just trying to build some depth during the early games but it is readily apparent that neither High nor Brown can be trusted in a critical game.

In that case, it's almost certainly going to be Stevenson. Caleb is too important to put him there and risk him picking up fouls simply by being overpowered.

But I think you're likely correct that, barring a significant change, High or Brown will get even decent (non-blowout) minutes once the lineup winnows down in more important games.

It was a perfectly fine performance for a sleepy weeknight home game against a mid major in November up until about 5 minutes to go. Looked like we were going to cruise to a 30 point win and then just inexplicably stopped trying at all for the last few minutes.

I would be a little harsher than that. We were flat for about 30 out of 40 minutes. Wilson sparked one great 6-8 minute period by going nuclear; outside of that it was not a good performance, though the last five minutes where we basically assumed the game was over early was definitely the worst.

It’s certainly true that every team will have flat games like this in similar situations. Nothing that worries me too greatly. But I do worry we’re a little overdependent on Wilson for energy and passion at the moment. Everyone else feeds off him, which is great when he’s fired up, but not so much when he’s not.
