There's a couple of teams that are going to have that problem.Fortunately they are only 7-22 for three. We are 4-11 for three.
But Hawaii has no answer for the RJ/Seth/Cadeu triumvirate…
Lack of a good big concerns me more on defense and for rebounding than it does for offense. That and the offense against a zone are the biggest weaknesses for this team.Heels win 87-69. Nice true road win. Definitely things to work on in the interior and on defense, but an 18-point road win is very nice indeed.
RJ 18, Cadeau 17, Trimble 13 and Ian 11.
But we need to figure out how to rebound. Lost the battle on the boards 40-27, which won’t work against better teams.
Hawaii has several quality players but at times it looked like they all just met for the first time in the locker room tonight. At other times they looked pretty solid.
If nothing else, we should win, as their coach is a total dumbass tonight.Yikes, could Jalen bottom out any harder? LOL.
I looked at Dayton's schedule and assume Capital is D2? I was somewhat reassured that their best players are not bigs, but they have two relative giants inside (a 7-1 guy, L'etang and a 6-11 guy, Jack) who play regular minutes (about 13-MPG each), though Key (6-8) plays more so far leads the team in blocks; I think Jack must have had an early season injury or eligibility issue, b/c he has only played in their last three games (and only 4 minutes in his first outing), though this is his second year with the squad. Based solely on their stats, Cheeks appears to be Mr. DoItAll for the Flyers, leading the team in points, rebounds (an eye-popping 8.2 RPG for a guard) and steals (3.2 pg!)
