It's not as complicated as people are trying to make it. Voters didn't pull up percentages/numbers/graphs/venn diagrams (lol) to make their choices. Biden/Harris represented the country going radicalized left and the voters voice said no, not yet. Grocery store prices and far left agendas lost this election.

Every Democrat since McGovern in 1972 (except maybe for Jimmy Carter) was labeled as "far left", "radical", "socialist", or something similar by Republicans. To listen to them Democrats have been running nothing but far-left candidates for fifty years. The candidates change, but the GOP accusations and cliches never do.

Trump's political team claimed the Democrats ran a "base" election. Not sure what they meant by that, but I assume it dovetails with your "far left agendas" comment. They were the winners, so I guess they have some credibility.

Remember, in 1968, many conservatives regarded Hubert Humphrey as an “n-word lover.” It goes back to before 1972.
