Bye bye Pam Bondi

Trump’s 2.0 team won’t turn on him.

If they don't it's only because they are complicit in his criminal schemes. Can't rat out the murderer when you're an accessory!

We are now at the stage where Trump is getting word he's failing and his numbers are putrid. Like any true narcissist he's incapable of looking inward, he's gonna fire everyone in his orbit because it's, very obviously, their fault.

Is it the haircut or just the shape of his head? Think the head may be a perfect egg.
That cat has always had hair issues. I think it’s mental.

Do you think their replacements will be improvements?
At this point who cares. It’s not at all about improvements, it’s about the public spectacle of his spiral and tantrums, and how the prominent faces he’s hung his maga hat on go down in flames for all swing voters to see.

He would not be replacing people close to him if things were going well for him. Even the dumbest voters can piece that together, and that’s what matters.

We've reached the stage of the presidency where trump starts firing people left and right. I hope it pisses her off and she turns on him.
Yep. Trump administrations are a revolving door of “the best people.”

Actually not necessarily. Ty Cobb said on CNN thatTrump is looking for someone who will be more effective at prosecuting his enemies. So we shall see.
Bondi wasn’t willing to take that extra step of planting evidence or suborning perjury to try to make something out of those cases where no crimes occurred. Trump’s hoping the next person will.

Bondi was at least qualified on paper, if ethically compromised.

Talented people aren't historically likely to want to work for this shit show. Competence has always taken a back seat to obsequiousness. As such, I don't have a lot of anxiety that the next round of boot lickers will be more effective.

Well, maybe not the dumbest.

Yeah, the replacements will be no better

When you are firing "only the best " how could anyone think the 2nd best will be better ?

The new ( temporary) AG is a case in point:

Trump’s 2.0 team won’t turn on him.
What an odd thing to say. First, it implicitly concedes there is presently some basis for turning on Trump. Second, it implies the "1.0 team" handpicked by Trump found reason to turn on him. Third, it concedes that Trump did a poor job choosing the "1.0 team." Fourth, it presumes without explanation that whatever mistakes Trump made in choosing the "1.0 team" will not be repeated with the "2.0 team." Fifth, it suggests the cabinet's allegiance is to Donald Trump rather than the Constitution of the United States of America, oath of office and history of the nation notwithstanding.

It was just a statement of fact regarding his 2.0 team. You can interpret it as you wish.

Y'alls predictions of Trump's demise due to Iran is just the 2026 version of BOMBSHELL: "the walls are closing in on the President." We've traveling down this path many times.

“On Wednesday morning, Attorney General Pam Bondi descended the sun-splashed steps of the White House with President Trump, smiling at him just before entering the presidential limousine for a two-mile ride to the Supreme Court.

It was on that short ride in “The Beast” when Bondi learned she was being removed from her job.

During the drive, Trump told her, “I think it’s time,” she would later tell an associate.

The ensuing hours were as awkward and chaotic as Bondi’s 14-month tenure as the nation’s top law-enforcement official. Trump and Bondi briefly sat near each other during the Supreme Court hearing on birthright citizenship, but the president soon switched chairs.

Later, Bondi would ask Trump if she could keep her job until the summer. The president declined.…”
