This Panthers team is now one of seven teams in NFL history to make the playoffs with a losing record. The others were:

Cleveland and Detroit in 1982 with records of 4-5 (strike-shortened season)

Seattle in 2010 (7-9)

Carolina in 2014 (7-8-1)

Washington in 2020 (7-9)

Tampa in 2022 (8-9)

Of those teams, 2010 Seattle and 2014 Carolina were the only ones to win a playoff game, each winning one.
 
If Miami fires Mike McDaniel, I would like to see the Panthers hire him as OC/play caller. He is a bright, inventive offensive mind and Canales needs to give up calling plays and I don’t think Idzik is ready to call plays.

Evero’s defense has played well enough to win more games this year (gave up 20 points or less in 7 of their last 9 games this season) but the offense hasn’t put up enough points to support that defense.

Yep. Definitely happy with the way our defense has progressed. Still needs to improve, but it was terrible last year and it made a big leap this year. Getting Derrick Brown back was a HUGE factor. He is awesome. Totally deserved a Pro-Bowl selection.
 
When will they announce game dates/times? I'd assume it will be a 4:30 kick so West coast audience can tune in.
