Play calling on defense killed them at the end.

Definitely should’ve been aggressive in the final defensive series. Increases the chance of giving up a big play, but if they’re going to score it’s better if it happens quickly.

McVay, Stafford and all those receiving options are hard to stop when they have to have it.

Just the last two years. I also lived Uptown in 1984-85 but that was before the Panthers existed.

The end of the game was disappointing but realistically nobody thought this team would be in the playoffs this season. And most pundits didn’t think the Panthers would make a game of it (10.5 point home dogs) much less have a fourth quarter lead and have a realistic shot to win the game. The future is looking up for this team.

Circling back to this: I swear every time I go to bury Bryce he turns in just enough of a solid performance to make me eat my words lol. He wasn’t perfect tonight and I’m not sold on him long term at all, but just on eye test I thought he played well in this game. Definitely wasn’t the reason we lost.

not one bit! He had a wonderful game.

But yeah we still need a big QB1 competition. I am not of the "get rid of him" sect but anointing him as the franchise guy...nah not now.
