Charlie Kirk shot and killed at Utah rally.

lmao at your cute lil attempted sanewashing. here are some direct quotes:

"black women do not have the processing power to be taken seriously" and that they "have to go steal a white persons slot."
"we made a huge mistake when we passed the civil rights act in the 1960's."
"MLK was awful. he was not a good person."
"if i see a black pilot, i'm going to be like "boy, i hope he's qualified."
"happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more."
"If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because affirmative action?"
"LGBTQ is a social contagion."
"reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You’re not in charge."
"We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately."
"The American Democrat party hates this country. They wanna see it collapse. They love it when America becomes less white."
"The great replacement strategy, which is well under way every single day in our southern border, is a strategy to replace white rural America with something different."
In 2024, Kirk cited a passage from Leviticus that advocates for stoning gay people to death, referring to it as "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.
In a 2025 podcast, Kirk compared homosexuality to alcoholism and drug addiction, stating, "You love them so much to correct their error".

There's a reason that people take small quotes from larger, complete thoughts as the author of your post did. That reason is to misrepresent the intent of the person being partial quoted.

I'm not going to spend time going through every cherry picked quote, but here's a few thoughts:

MLK was not a good person. Did he single handedly lead the civil rights revolution? Yes, but he was not a good person.

He didn't say all black women don't have processing power..or whatever he said. He was talking about 4 specific females, at least two of which acknowledged they got where they did due to affirmative action. He's not responsible for the reality of what AA became, which is often a lowering of standards.

The black pilot comment was related to DEI. Again, it's not his fault that DEI exists in the form it does.

I think there is evidence that LGBTQ is a social contagion. I think it has become trendy and "in" to have 8 different genders.

As far as religious stuff goes, that is far from unique to Charlie and is widely accepted in the evangelical world. My in-laws are the nicest people and he is clearly in charge of the house, she is definitely submissive and it is 100% due to their Methodist beliefs.

Religious extremism is it's own type of crazy.

I don't agree with it, but there's nothing wrong with adults who choose to live their life as they do.

Edit: Charlie said some not great things, but there is a clear intent to remove all context and cherry pick parts of entire thought to misrepresent what he was saying.

We have enough bad citizens. We shouldn't import more and shouldn't keep bad people here who don't have a right to be here.
The First Amendment protects citizen and foreigner alike. If you are in this country, you have the same right to speak as everyone else. You are not subject to deportation simply because you do not express the government-approved level of remorse over Charlie Kirk's death.

Take it up with Alexander Hamilton and the rest of his crew if you have a problem with that.

Matt Dowd was fired for these comments.

Another very concerning train of thought from a mainstream liberal with a big microphone.

I for the most part took yesterday off as I think the people who admire Kirk deserve some time to grieve. It was not the time to express my opinion of the man.

But the right has completely ceded the high ground on this issue with their talk about sending in the air force, declaring the democratic party as a terrorist organization (and some claiming "democrats" are), shutting down all leftist organizations, etc.

This is no longer about Charlie Kirk. Had they wanted to honor his memory they could have focused their anger at the person responsible for this. Instead they attacked 50% of the country - in some cases calling for us to be attacked and labelled terrorists.

I am not being quiet in the name of toning down the rhetoric. It is beyond that.

Hmm. One guy saying that Kirk's hateful rhetoric may have played a role vs prominent people on the right calling for revenge against all democrats.

The latter seems a little more problematic, right?

How many people on CNN or MSNBC called for war when the man tried to kill Nancy Pelosi, or the legislators in Minnesota were killed, or there was an attempt on the governor of Pennsylavia's life?

But, sure, one person saying something that is a bit insensitive due to the timing is worse...

Anytime a Republican is shot, it is always, "This is War!" coming from loud, prominent parts of the right.

We heard this after both Trump assassination attempts, as well as his simple criminal indictments. We heard it after Steve Scalise was shot at the softball game. And we hear it now after Charlie Kirk is shot.

But where were the cries of war when Gabby Gifford was shot? Or the Minnesota politicians? Nowhere.

He's justifying what happened. He's saying "If you say 'mean' things, you should expect violence in response".

Do you agree with that?

Sure - it's safe. Everything is OK. It's an anonymous message board. Who cares what you post?
Well there are multiple articles today that the Trump administration is evaluating taking action against foreign nationals who make light of the Kirk assassination.

Conservative declared THIS IS WAR when the green M&M got go-go boots and Potato Head lost his “Mr.” so they’ll have to pardon me if I’m not exactly quaking in my cleats about their latest declaration of war over Charlie Kirk. I’m sure the Tootsie Pop owl will get pronouns soon and we’ll have yet another spittle-flecked declaration of war.

Not at all what he said, you dumb fuck. This is another disingenuous attempt by you to sane-wash who Charlie Kirk was.

What he said was when you preach hate speech, sometimes you create the kind of hatred back at you that you spread.

Hate speech DOES NOT EQUAL "saying mean things."
