A little holiday playlist for your merriment:

- YouTube (Andrew Bird - Auld Lang Syne)

- YouTube (Stevie Wonder - What Christmas Means To Me)

- YouTube (Run-DMC - Christmas In Hollis)

- YouTube (The Ronettes - Sleigh Ride)

- YouTube (Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song)

- YouTube (Khruangbin - Christmas Time is Here)

- YouTube (Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings - Big Bulbs)

- YouTube (The Brian Setzer Orchestra - The Nutcracker Suite)

- YouTube (The Ramsey Lewis Trio - Plum Puddin’)

- YouTube (Warren Wolf - O Christmas Tree)

- YouTube (Jose James - The Christmas Waltz)

(Not everything embedded for some reason but there are 16 songs there.)

I prefer The Ronettes' "Frosty the Snowman" over "Sleigh Ride".

Ah, Phil Spector ... a genius in the studio ... but a homicidal nut out of the studio.

What no "Fairytale of New York" with the Pogues and Kristy McColl? The death last year of Shane MacGowan still saddens me.

My two favorites are Christmas in Hollis and Last Christmas (yes, that Last Christmas). I don’t get worked up over Christmas music, or Christmas in general.

I first heard this one off a CD I got from a Chex cereal box. Loved the Chex mix and the song. It's Jose Feliciano (NOT the song you're thinking of). He does a pretty good version of "The Little Drummer Boy" as well.
