My two favorites are Mariah carey, "All I want for Christmas" and Wham's "Last Christmas". I also like some version that's probably 50 years old at this point of "Baby it's Cold Outside." Don't know who sings it.

There's no reason that this song should SCREAM MERRY CHRISTMAS the way that it does...

But it does.
Agree 100%. One of my favorites! And I appreciate you posting the original version and not the sanitized for radio play version. Maybe not PC, but let's call it a "cultural artifact".

And man, those teeth. I think a poster on the old board once said that the dentist who went in to fix them referred to it as "the Mount Everest of dentistry".

Sandler is the OG genius behind that song, but for sheer musical listening pleasure, it's hard to beat the Neil Diamond cover.

OMG !

I was unaware of this and I agree this is such a wonderful listening pleasure.

I confess Neil Diamond is a secret pleasure artist of mine. His " Hot August Night" live concert cd is my only Neil Diamond cd but it is good 🙂

Now here is the UNC adopted song by him ( just add an A to Caroline )

Annie Lennox's Christmas album 'A Christmas Cornucopia' really scratches my previously mentioned itch for traditional carols.

The whole album top to bottom is outstanding.

Darlene Love's Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

Which she will be performing tonight on Fallon accompanied by Paul Shaffer and Little Steven Van Zandt.

A Holy Cole cover you might enjoy...

Nice cover !

Joni's " Blue " is on my Mount Rushmore and it brings me to tears every time I play it.
As an aside in a song she makes reference to guy she had a brief relationship who was from Hillsborough,NC
