Look-In: Ah Littlejohn — the pit. A tough place to play. Wonder how a post-dook victory, post-Super Bowl crowd will comport themselves? Vamos a ver. These tigers are tough. Jaeden Zackery (#11, 6-2) out of Boston College by way of Chipola is a rough draw (10.6 ppg) and his backcourt mate, 6th year man Chase Hunter is a genuine all-star (#1, 6-4, 17.5 ppg) and accurate all over the court. A clutch performer. The unlikely Ian Schieffelin, grabs rebounds unexpectedly (9.5), scores (12.8 ppg), and disrupts on defense. He is smug and slappable. IGOR Putinsky (real name Viktor Lakhin) is a 7-0 Russian pivot with surprising mobility (6 rpg, 10.6 ppg). Chases’s brother Dillon fills out the starting line-up (#2, 6-3, 5.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg). Del Jones (#10 6-2, 4.2) and Chauncey Wiggins (#7 6-10, 9.2 ppg) play good minutes off the bench and hoosier spark plug Jake Heidbreder is likely to see minutes and launch treys. Dangerous squad with wins over dook, Kentucky, and Wake Forest.

Frontcourt: Washington’s Intel is up, Physical too. Lubin remains athletic while getting smarter. James Brown is above the fold strong but Ty Claude is low.

Wings: Ian Jackson has good looks but the Emotion is down while Drake Powell is positive and looks good physically and mentally. Tyson is average.

Guards: Cadeau is Einsteinian and R.J. Davis on the rise with a solid physical. Seth Trimble is middlin.

Overall: This has trap game writ all over it from the Clemson side of things. The biorhythms also point to that. But look…the tigers are a good team…their starting five can stand up to any and Brownell is a solid coach. Chase Hunter and Jaeden Zackery are strong guards with a great deal of experience and ‘want to.’ Schieffelin is a load. Lakhin an even bigger load. Chauncey Wiggins off the pine is 6-10 and a scorer. But tonight Carolina just might have the upper hand — they certainly do biorhythmically. Davis should score and Cadeau should play smart with the ball while Washington and Lubin are wiley in the paint. Did someone say The Return of Ian Jackson? And Drake Powell should continue with imitating Spider-Man on Defense and Hawkeye on Offense. Trimble will be Trimble. Go Heels. Vegas says Clemson by 5.5. Ritmos say Carolina by 7.

It’s not a “must win” (that game was Saturday Jan 18) and its one we’re expected to lose. So if we get lucky and steal one it will be great.

But I think dook was lucky not to lose by about 18 points on Saturday.
I’m afraid we might be the team that takes that 18 pt pounding.
Hope I’m wrong

Bless his little heart… Cadeau still hasn’t figured out who he has on the floor with him. Frustrating for him and everybody else.
Sometimes you have to look in the mirror. It’s your fault young man. The stats, and all of those turnovers beside your name don’t lie.

I think this is hard from a coaching/developmental situation. Cadeau isn't wrong, in an absolute sense, that there are often very much great opportunities he's trying to lead his teammates into with his passes. But the teammates just don't see what Cadeau sees and just aren't ready for those passes.

So, in a subjective sense, Cadeau shouldn't throw those passes, but if you tell Cadeau not to attempt those plays then you take away his best attribute in his vision and passing.
