Because clearly Clemson, Wake Forest, Stanford, and Pitt are spending more on basketball NIL than we are. I mean just look at those rosters overflowing with 5* talent.
St Johns and Marquette must be rolling in that NIL money, too, since they have such powerhouse football programs.

Hubert needs to go if next season is not significantly better. And I am not sure if that would be good enough to keep him since there has been no consistency from year to year with him. And the offense he runs is still trash.
At this point it seems clear that Hubert's offense either doesn't work consistently or he and his assistants can't teach it to his players well enough to make it work consistently. Either way that's on him.

That's not what others have said about NIL money. And Hubert was the one that didn't want a GM and didn't really care about the NIL stuff.
Sorry, I never heard those stories. Facts remain: Zayden High out and we missed in the portal for a big man because of lack of NIL. You know something different I’m all ears.

IC reported it wasn't an NIL deal and they matched others for a couple of big men but they went elsewhere.

Tell me again how Clemson has so much more NIL spend at basketball than we do? Bottom line, this is not Carolina basketball and it's become an embarrassment.

I can’t argue those points other than to say it ain’t the x’s a o’s it’s the Jimmys and Joes.

I predicted an 18 point beat down in this very thread. It was that bad, plus 2. Anybody could have called it. I did. But I’m not gloating about it, nor am I pointing the boney finger of indignation at Coach or player, it is what is after 24 games.

While getting a GM, more staff

You weren't saying it was on the players, in this very thread?

The stats say we’re better with Cadeau on the floor, but he was bad tonight. His attitude is always bad as well. Just never looks to enjoy the game.

Sad state of affairs. We look totally lost.

Kudos to RJ. He’s been playing his heart out and fighting for every shot while everyone else clangs shot after shot.

I watched Hubert Davis develop here and I will say two things:
1. If Dean Smith knew this was going to happen he never would have done Walter the favor of letting Hubert on the team.
2. If Hubert Davis was a product of his own coaching, he'd be bagging groceries right now.
