That was a comeback for ages for sure. Team still has a lot of problems w/ Darryn Peterson's "health problems."

I really liked Wes as a coach at UNCG and thought Cincy had made great hire when he went there, but I can totally understand why Cincy fans are ready to move on.
Good hire that didn’t pan out. Too bad for both Cincy (which I don’t really care about) and too bad for Wes (whom I do care about).

I’m guessing Wes won’t be there after this season. He has shown himself to be a very capable coach at the mid-major level, so hopefully he can land a decent job somewhere else.

I think a big thing for Cincy was moving to the Big12.

Wes seemed to have gotten some traction in his second year at Cincy before they moved to the Big12, but it's been a struggle over the last 2+ seasons. From what I can see, almost all of their teams have struggled since the move and the jump in competition. That makes me think that it's, at least partially, a program/AD issue as much as a coaching issue in any particular sport.

Crazy win. Down 9 with 1 min and 5 with 12 seconds

One of the worst fouls I've ever seen by TCU up 3 with 5 seconds

Damn near looked like an intentional foul on the 3P shooter

Yeah tough timing for Wes getting to Cincinnati right before they went to the Big 12. That’s a really tough jump.

To your point it’s not entirely his fault by any means, but it’s probably time for a change anyway.

Vandy is 14-0 with the best record in SEC with a win over South Carolina. Nickel scored 16 pts in 28 minutes hitting 4-7 from the 3 point line.

Vandy plays #13 Bama tonight. Should be a good game to watch...

Vanderbilt has been one of the big winners of the NIL era. As with BYU, I suspect that Vandy were able to get a jump on some big donors, with a fair amount of disposable wealth. They seem to have been better prepared for the shift than a number of other elite academic schools were.

yeah, i really don't understand that situation. the story is that he apparently has unsolvable chronic muscular cramp issues?

how is it not tanking his draft stock?
His talent will keep his draft stock from tanking (unless physicals before the draft show a long-term problem).

Even coming out of the game at various points last night, he put up 32 points in 32 minutes on 18 shots. The truth is that he's tremendously productive when he's on the court.

If this continues as it is now through the rest of the year, I wouldn't be surprised if he falls down a pick or two, but his talent is simply so great he's going to be a top selection.
