That report about Hurley doesn’t sound legit but it brings up a point that really irks me: I feel like college basketball in particular is way more lenient about letting coaches verbally abuse officials compared to other sports. I get that it’s more noticeable on TV because the basketball court is more intimate than say zooming in on a football coach, but even in the NBA I feel like you don’t see coaches constantly hounding the refs the way they do in college. Wouldn't mind seeing the NCAA crack down on that. Seems like a pretty easy fix.

While I tend to believe that Hurley is capable and prone to pretty much any and everything shitty, I am totally on base with your point about the leniency.
