Went to the Wake/Michigan game at Greensboro Coliseum. Great comeback win for the Deacs. Down 13 and won by 2.
That was an important win for Wake. One of three big conference OOC games on their slate, IIRC, and Michigan is likely the weakest (compared to TA&M and Florida), so a win they needed.

How did Efton Reid look?

Wait, can we say d00k on this thread, or is that only for the other basketball thread? I thought I read d00k on page one of this thread.
Is that cricket?

Efton is disappointing. He just lacks in hustle and coordination IMO. He gets beat to so many times on rebounds that should be his. He takes up space in the middle but he never asserts himself. The team also played a lot better when Sallis was on the bench. When Sallis is in everyone is waiting for him to do something. When he's out they played much more of a team game.

That was my impression last season, was wondering if he has shown any growth as a player so far this season. Very early, of course.

I'm still not sure UNC is a top 10 team. The schedule the next 6 weeks means we are going to find out.

We may not be, because at some point our interior game is probably going to be an Achilles heel, but I’m not sure I have seen too many teams come back from 20 down against a top-ranked Kansas squad in Allen Fieldhouse in my 25 years of watching college basketball.

Go Kentucky!

What about first half Elon? We were basically covering the spread and matching dook's first half against Maine. I only see 2 bad halfs this year, not three.
It’s November 12th. TV demands an earlier and earlier start to the season. With the transfer portal, it’ll be weeks before many teams, including UNC, are playing well.

This UNC team has 3 starters who were subs last year, two freshmen, and one transfer in the rotation.

RJ is shooting 29% and 22%.

I’ll worry about UNC’s Top 10 status later.

Michigan State still good at making the other team look bad.
