Sounds like Jai Luvas is headed to Miami. That's an important loss for the Duke staff. Think he'll be a good head coach.

UConn down 18 at the half to St Johns, and the "best coach in the fucking sport" coaches them up at halftime. UConn commits turnovers on their first 3 possessions of the 2nd half.

For everyone slamming Hubert, it's worth noting that UNC is 44 in kenpom, and UConn 37.

Obviously Hurley has just won two titles, so it puts him in a different category. I remain agnostic about retaining Hubert. But thinking about it like this might have some utility.

Auburn and Florida are great. Houston has a stifling defense.

But I feel pretty confident that Duke is the best team in the country. Doesn’t mean they will win, but it will take a monstrous effort to knock them off.
Think the Mali Brown injury could be costly. He's part of their defensive units and really gives them some veteran grit. Wrong injury at the wrong time of the year. They really need him to be back at Sweet 16 when thing start getting tough.

He's a huge loss, but last I heard they think they can get him back this season.

They should get him back in 4 weeks (maybe a week earlier but that increases risk). Think he's particularly critical against teams with more mobile 5s (particularly if the opponent has two capable bigs). Malauch puts in the effort, but his foot speed on the perimeter is just not there yet.

Any players in Texas that we might want?

I'd be transferring if the state government wanted to inspect my balls to ensure I am a man before being allowed to play.

It would be so funny if this passed and 90% or more of the college athletes transfered immediately.
