It's weird when grown people get happy over athletes getting hurt. Especially college and high school players.
I think a sprained ankle and an ACL are different beasts. Everyone turns ankles, as my friend proved. Flagg isn't hurt. It's just a cheer for him possibly missing a game against UNC. It would be different, I think, if he broke a leg. I don't know. There are far worse sins.

Ok don't justify that.

Celebrating any injury is gross. Yeah y'all are probably favored how, but karma served your boy just desserts

Oh come on. First, I'm sure you're excepting FAFO -- like when a player commits a hard foul on an alley oop and ends up getting kicked in the face from the falling player. Second, I can't see why or how a fan's celebration makes any difference in the world. I'm not justifying it so much as just ignoring it as non-impactful. It's on the severity level of flipping a driver off if you think they cut you off.

Disagree. I think this is their best team since 2001.
At a minimum, I think this Duke team would have a very hard time vs. the Duke teams of the early- to mid-2000s, which were full of players who had played together for a while. Those teams were either the best team or one of the two best teams in a much more competitive ACC. The competition this year’s Duke team has had to face game in and came out over the past 2+ months has been mostly pretty bad. The Duke teams of the of the 2000s and 2010s won a lot of games playing much tougher competition.

This duke team without Flagg/Brown is still deeper, bigger, more talented than 99% of teams today. The team as we'll see it later is at worst what... a 3-4 seed? Hopefully there's an element of trying to figure things out on the fly but a lot of times when injuries like this occur everyone steps it up

Yeah could go either way. I think with the motivation you guys have you will probably win today, but you never know. We've had our share of injuries, for sure. Maliq Brown being done for the season is a killer :(

Hopefully knueppel goes 4 of 22

I'm banking that the 'step up' occurred in-game vs Tech and is now in the past.

And most stepped it up last weekend in CH with Flagg in foul trouble. Back to earth hopefully

It will be nice being able to play Drake on him, without having to worry about Flagg

The big guards are always tough but RJ/EC have been fighting like hell on D lately

I think all fans can agree the refs have been way too visible throughout the ACC tournament.

Love is ballin out right now, 6-8 and 3-4 for 17 in the first half.
Do y'all pull for him?

Just wondering. I mean I've got no animosity to most of the Duke transfers, and definitely not Jeremy Roach who graduated, but I just have no idea how a single one is doing this season. But I'm also lazy lol

Didn't need that CSU win last night.

Yes, I pull for him. He's a Heel in my book, and it's not just because of the way he played against Duke in his two years at UNC. Having said that, I usually don't make it a point to tune into his games, I just happened to fall on it last night. (I also pull for AZ, due to him and Steve.)
