The thing is Bama would have to lose at least 3 games, maybe 4 to miss the playoff so this doesn’t really mean anything. The trade off for the 12 team playoff…
 
Great games and finishes all-around with the Bama and Rocky Top losses being the best. Used to be that I wouldn’t watch after a Carolina loss, but it seems our persistent incompetence has solved that problem.

ncsulol’s loss to Wake turned a totally crappy college football Saturday into merely a crappy one……no number of d00k or ncsulol losses makes me happy after the Heels lose.
 
Unusually tough day for the top 25 in college football. The ##1, 4, 9, 10, 11 & 22 teams lost, all but one to unranked teams albeit all but one lost on the road. As noted above, #8 Miami barely escaped that fate.
 
This was a great weekend of CFB. Happy for Vandy and Clark Lea that they finally got a signature win, and that it came at the expense of Bama. Can’t stand Bama lol.

I was staying at my folks’ place this weekend and my wife and I were already up late with them last night talking and enjoying a few bottles of wine, so we decided to watch the end of the Miami/Cal game. Hate it for Cal that they couldn’t hang on but I have to admit that Miami showed impressive grit in that spot. A lot of teams would have folded up shop being down by so much late and on the road.
