It definitely wasn't indisputable evidence with the video they had. You couldn't tell if it was obvious the ball was knocked out after the VT player had controlled it or not.

I’ll take it. I’m a UM homer, so I think my canes have been hosed by ACC refs enough over the years that I’m happy to see it break our way for once.
FTR, I think the original call was wrong. But once made, there wasn’t enough vid evidence to conclusively overturn it.
Weird weird game.No game thread for UNC/Duke? Decent crowd here at Wallace Wade, all things considered. My first time here…
I told my son if we didn't score on the first drive of the third quarter we were leaving. I was so bored the whole first halfThat was a weird game and in some ways worse than last week. My brother and I went with a buddy who went to Carolina with us. He grew up in Durham and both of his parents went to Duke and he still pulls for them. You can imagine the verbal back and forth that has been exchanged over the years.
He got tix in one of the boxes, I have to admit it wasn’t a bad way to watch a game. Of course he wanted to leave at halftime but we somehow distracted him enough to stay. Then we were the ones who wanted to leave but by then it was too late.
We did duck out a few seconds early to try and beat the crowd, on the way out we passed K and Mickie heading in the other direction, of course I just kept walking, as did my buddy. He then thought better of it and turned and sprinted back. My brother, who was lagging behind us, got a few pics, said K was clearly trying to get away but my buddy wouldn’t be deterred and got his posed pic with K. Pretty good day for him. Fucker. Then we drove over and saw My Morning Jacket at Walnut Creek. Pretty fun day except for the outcome of the game but even that was almost worth it to see my buddy so happy..
Good job UNC for staying in the dying ACC when the writing was on the wall years ago.Sources: Big Ten, SEC eye schedule partnership

First attempt to create a single College Football League — a 120 team single league working in concert with the NCAA somehow with a single tv contract, 13-game season and 24-team playoff. There are many roadblocks.
