College Football Catch-All Thread

We were at a brewery at end of Duke//Clemson game and I had an obstructed view of that game (which was behind the espn play by play). I swear the espn game play by play said Duke failed to convert on 4th down with 49 seconds left, so I quit paying attention to that game. At dinner my husband said Clemson lost and at first I was like no that must be wrong, I saw them win.
 
Pissed I can’t watch this Oklahoma/UT game. Unlike our game last night they are killing the streams. Says a lot about UNC football I guess, at least from a network perspective.
 
It’s been a couple of years since the Sooners won on the road at a ranked team, so would be big to hold on this last 8 minutes. But @Bama next … 😬 rough stretch in the schedule

I’ve already eaten my crow here.

I’ll say that this loss was fucking devastating, given the sloppy play that didn’t plague UM in their early season games. And it’s made even worse by the fact the GT lost today, which would’ve paved the way for UM to reach the ACC champ game.

Ah well, there’s always next year.

I’m rooting for Indiana from here on out.

Fair. Though I will say the heels looked better on Friday night than they’ve looked all season.

I don’t know what’s best for UNC at this point. The Bellichik experiment has been abysmal so far, but I think it’s foolhardy to toss him now. I suppose we’ve gotta give him through next year and hope for the best.

And I believe I was the first to say that no crow eating is necessary. I do hope now that you see the Miami hatred you accused me of existed only in your mind. My opinion is based on the ACC. Remember that we have season tickets in both Chapel Hill and Ann Arbor. I see what a real football league looks like up close. The ACC ain't it. It ain't even close.
 
yep which makes our situation as one of the worst teams in one of the worst conferences even more sickening

beating 90th ranked syracuse who was playing a walk on qb means zilch for what we are paying smmfh
