In other CFB news...
CFB is going to have to put in place a better operational calendar so that the bowls/playoffs, coaching changes, and the transfer portal aren't all happening simultaneously. It's a bad system and needs to get fixed so that we can get through one thing before the next takes over.
I think the current rule ends consideration at 5-win teams. (There were 4-win teams in bowls in 2020, but there was a special waiver passed for that due to COVID.)How many teams would have to opt out for the invitation to fall to a 4 win team?
Exactly. We can all admit it is time to kill bowl games right? Allow teams to schedule a post season exhibition if they like but stop the charade of weedeater and pastry bowls.
I disagree, I like bowl games and want them to continue. Especially for the 50-75 schools that sometimes have a good year-but will Never go CFP Not that 50-75 should go every year-but they might go half the time-whateverI disagree, I like bowl games and want them to continue. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Such freakin' babies!
No. Keep the Pop Tart bowl. That is a gift to humanity from the sports and marketing gods.We can all admit it is time to kill bowl games right? Allow teams to schedule a post season exhibition if they like but stop the charade of weedeater and pastry bowls.
I like the bowl games too. Maybe it’s just nostalgia, but especially that week between Christmas and New Years it’s just part of the holidays to have weird college football matchups on TV all the time.I disagree, I like bowl games and want them to continue. I think the entire bowl system needs significant tweaking, but I wouldn’t get rid of the entire thing.
