That opening drive plus was indicative of the first game of the season, but it’s football and I’ll take it!

It’s funny, my side by side view has the ISU/KSU game beside the Washington/Baltimore preseason NFL game. The team colors are remarkably similar.

Maybe it's just me, but I only pay attention to NFL preseason games until CFB games start...and then I don't pay attention to the NFL again until the regular season starts.

Oh, I wasn't critiquing you for paying attention to the NFL preseason, I was simply making a comment that as of noon EDT today the NFL is dead to me until the regular season starts.

And since I'm a Raiders fan, the NFL will be dead to me again after about Week 4 until the CFP is over and I decide that the NFL is better than no football.

I'd end up in the fetal position if I tried to watch that for more than 2 minutes. My brain would just nope right out the door and I'd be left behind to pick up the pieces.

Kansas State QB's dad and brother got into a fight after Kansas State lost yesterday. I am trying to figure out the family dynamics, though, because the QB looks as white as snow and his brother does not. Maybe they are half brothers. Or maybe the QB is biracial and just really really light skinned.

A friend of my son went to CU a few years ago and was one of the Ralphie handlers for the on field run outs during one of his years there. He said it was an awesome experience.

It’s in Texas; part of the A&M system. Draw a line from Fort Worth to Abilene it’s a bit south of the line and a bit closer to Fort Worth.

I figure most years, the Top 25 high school teams in Texas would pound the shit out of the US Military Academies……and, UNC, d00k, Wake, ncsulol, UVA, Syracuse, Stanford, Cal, and BC.
