After the last 25 years, you’re still a UNC football fan willing to buy season tickets to watch our shitty teams and crappy opponents? Ponying up $6,000-$7,000 a season for tickets? I hope that includes your Rams Club dues.

Your business must be doing WELL!

Kudos to you!
Im just a glutton for punishment. Also, that's just the cost for mezzanine tickets but its about the only place my dad is totally comfortable in his chair and it isnt crowded and the bathrooms work for him, etc.

Duke won. Looked like ass in the first half... So many drops and missed tackles (typical of start of season). Second half was much much better

Georgia Tech was clearly the better team last night but had to overcome turnovers to get the win. That said, their passing game looked pretty suspect, even though their run game was tough.

Colorado looked undisciplined on defense (first game of the season) — they actually didn’t have many penalties somehow, but it seemed like all five of them were critical.

Meanwhile, Tarleton State upset of Army was pretty surprising. Army won ten games last season. Tarleton probably got a big boost from this being their econd game of the season but still surprising.

On paper, there are some interesting matchups today & Sunday

Saturday Marquee
Texas @ tOSU
Alabama @ FSU
LSU@ Clemson

Sunday Marquee
Va Tech @ South Carolina
Notre Dame @ Miami

Non-marquee games of some interest

Coastal Carolina @ UVa — solid program could give some insight about Wahoos team, and maybe give them a scare

ODU @ Indiana is interesting to get a glimpse of whether last year was a fluke for the Hoosiers. They are favored by around 24 points today but ODU can be a tough team to blow out — not saying they have as meaningful chance at an upset, just curious to see if they can keep it close or if it looks more like IU has stepped up to be a consistent upper tier B1G team.

Northwestern @ Tulane

Toledo @ Kentucky

Utah @ UCLA

Hawaii @ Arizona

[I have no hope of staying up to watch those last two]

Some ECU and State students got in a fight after the game on Thursday...

"A brawl on North Carolina State’s campus ended with charges against four East Carolina University students and two from State.

It happened several hours after NC State’s football team defeated ECU Thursday night in the season opener.

NC State says the fight happened around 1:50 a.m. at Pillsbury Circle and Brooks Drive."

At least no one was shot and killed this time.
