Alabama and South Cackalacky are having a good one today!
Crazy ending. Bama drives down and ties it at 22 with a TD and 2 point conversion with roughly 2 mins left. Bama then with the strip and fumble recovery and then takes the lead with a 25 yard TD run with less than a minute left. Bama wins 29-22.

Remember the QB who transferred to UNC for the spring and then went back to Purdue? Here he is with a pass completion, a reception and a fumble all on one play.

Heels had a tough loss, coming up just inches short. Then the Gamecocks had a heartbreaking collapse at home. But, Mississippi State accepted the challenge and showed they are still masters of their craft.

That is crazy. I thought that game was over.

That's pretty impressive.

I hope our QBs don't see this as a challenge.

Given their combined record of 31-1, at this time I’m able to project the final four of the College Football Playoff.

Vanderbilt
Indiana
Brigham Young
Georgia Tech

I doubt all of these will be in the CFP, but it's certainly worth noting what the transfer portal and paying players has done to even the playing field in college football. And it's also revealed just how quickly any P4 college team can turn itself into a contender with good coaches and smart recruiting in the transfer portal and finding the right players and paying them to either stay or come to your school. If this trend continues I wonder how long this new system will last, as I don't see the traditional college football powers allowing it to continue for long if they start getting left out CFP contention for the likes of Indiana and Vandebilt.
