Schools around the country were so impressed by our BOT led search that they’re eager to do the same.
May they be as successful!

I can see it. Feel like he would do really well there.Apparently rumors have been swirling today about VT hiring Big Game James Franklin.
Not sure I understand why Franklin wouldn’t be good at UNC. He might be lacking on the big stage but he has a formula for consistency.I can see it. Feel like he would do really well there.
Would not be good for UNC, but it would at least be better than Franklin at State.
Sorry, I worded that poorly. I meant that it would not be good for UNC if VT hired Franklin. Not sure I understand why Franklin wouldn’t be good at UNC. He might be lacking on the big stage but he has a formula for consistency.
He should wait a month. There will be better opportunities.Apparently rumors have been swirling today about VT hiring Big Game James Franklin.
If he does half of what he's talking about doing, he's really gonna fuck this up.LSU Needs a New Football Coach. The Governor Wants Trump To Make the Pick.
In an address from the Louisiana state capitol, Gov. Jeff Landry asked for the president’s help in solving a statewide emergency: finding a new head coach for the Tigers

“At the Louisiana state capitol on Wednesday afternoon, Gov. Jeff Landry used his weekly press conference to address a topic of grave importance.
…
In an impassioned speech in Baton Rouge, Landry announced that the man whose job would seemingly make him responsible for finding a new coach for the Tigers, LSU athletic director Scott Woodward, had been relieved of his duties. Woodward was behind the hiring of Brian Kelly, whom the Tigers fired on Sunday after the team fell to 5-3 this season, to a 10-year, $100 million contract.
To rectify that catastrophe, Landry took Woodward off the job and recommended the choice of a successor be assigned to someone whose office demands decisions of roughly equal gravity.
The President of the United States.
… “In all the years I’ve covered college football, I’ve never seen a governor fire an athletic director at a press conference,” said ESPN analyst Paul Finebaum. “That was a new experience for me.”
Yet Landry assuming an active role in determining who will coach LSU next season isn’t actually the overreach it might appear. Former LSU president William Tate left the school in May to take the same job at Rutgers, and the university’s Board of Supervisors has been searching for his successor ever since.
Until LSU’s board hires a new president, they’re in charge. And Landry, whose mansion sits just four miles north of Death Valley, holds sway in that group.
In fact, the discussions that ultimately led to Kelly’s ouster on Sunday night took place at none other than the governor’s residence.…”
Jon Gruden seems like a good fit.If he does half of what he's talking about doing, he's really gonna fuck this up.
It's gonna be a crowded job market this off-season and the best coaches are going to have options, if he tries to go for an incentive-laden contract over a more typical one or if tries to get cute with the hiring process, the best candidates are going to go somewhere that seems more "normal" and less crazy. He's already undercut his AD and the university has no current president, so I would already be concerned if I were a coach looking at the position.
I'll be interested to see who they manage to come out of this with unless they somehow manage to sideline Landry as part of the hire.
Lols. I'd like to think you're right. I could definitely see Trump picking some MAGA influencer that occasionally mentions SEC football as the new coach and them failing miserably.Nothing would turn ruby red Louisiana bluer faster than Trump fucking up the LSU football coaching search.
