I thought about that. If the rule is ND has to be ranked 12th or higher, the committee is going to be highly motivated to rank them 13th if it is close. Otherwise, ND will get in over the 11th and 10th ranked teams.Until the Committee places them 13th in the very last ranking.

In "How Can You Be So Stupid?" News...
The investigation into Sherrone Moore and his executive assistant had apparently come to a (believed) conclusion last week without any evidence of the affair being brought to light. As AD Warde Manuel was wrapping up the process, he made an official recommendation to Moore that Moore was to have the assistant moved to another department in a similar role just to put the issue to rest.
Instead, Moore chose on Monday to fire the assistant.
The assistant is the one who came forward to Manuel on Wednesday with evidence of the affair that led to Moore's dismissal. And apparently after Moore found out she had turned in the evidence, he then went to her apartment, which is what led to the assault accusation/charge he is facing.

That Bobby Petrino story was something - I remember how much fun the fanbases of other SEC schools had at his expense. Some poster called LSU Freak who was good with photoshop and video clips did some hilarious fake videos of Petrino and his side piece on the LSU message boards. At least Petrino didn't assault somebody though (although there was gossip that the boyfriend of his side piece had roughed him up, which was likely a joke).
