I think this is probably correct. There is an outside chance of Miami winning with strict game control and a 25 carries for 137 yard type of game from Mark Fletcher. However I would never bet on it. If the scoring starts piling up Miami is out of luck.Only reason I give the Canes a chance is bc game is in Miami. Still think IU wins by 10+ pts, but in a true neutral stadium would guess they win by 20.
Every program that has a Mark Cuban, Phil Knight or a T.Boone Pickens that is....Indiana has the best money can buy right now. I think the money folks at UNC might pony up for basketball but football.. not so much.. hope I'm wrong..I don’t think it’s delusional to think UNC can be a solid program. If Indiana can go thru a regular season 12-0 and be one game away from playing for the national championship, then any program can.
That's Super Bowl prices.Tix going for $12k for the final, plenty of rich folks in South Florida are going to masquerade as die hard Canes fans...
Who is UNC’s Mark Cuban? Cuban is 50% more wealthy than MJ and MJ donates a ton to non-athletic causes. And, non-UNC causes (see Coach Smith’s advice to well-off UNC hoops alums).I don’t think it’s delusional to think UNC can be a solid program. If Indiana can go thru a regular season 12-0 and be one game away from playing for the national championship, then any program can.
Big 10 public schools are HUGE. IU has 48,000 plus students. That catch... Wow
Also how is 90% of the crowd IU? Is it that big of a school?
NFL teams KILL, literally KILL, not figuratively kill, IU players. This IU team vs the bottom 5 NFL squads this year? Give me IU all day.
I mean, how the fuck?!
I think UM’s OL and DL will keep them in the game. I won’t hazard a guess as to who wins, but those O and D lines will keep UM in any game.Only reason I give the Canes a chance is bc game is in Miami. Still think IU wins by 10+ pts, but in a true neutral stadium would guess they win by 20.
I’m pretty sure that’d be illegal.NFL teams KILL, literally KILL, not figuratively kill, IU players.
Pickens died in 2019. One of the reasons Okie State has started to slide in both football and basketball since.Every program that has a Mark Cuban, Phil Knight or a T.Boone Pickens that is....Indiana has the best money can buy right now. I think the money folks at UNC might pony up for basketball but football.. not so much.. hope I'm wrong..
This never works. No college team is beating any NFL team or NBA team or hockey team or baseball team. This IU team vs the bottom 5 NFL squads this year? Give me IU all day.
I mean, how the fuck?!
Would not be surprised at all if IU fans outnumber Miami fans next Monday.Big 10 public schools are HUGE. IU has 48,000 plus students.
Who is flying from Oregon to Atlanta and then Oregon to Miami 9-10 days later?
Bloomington to Atlanta isn’t a ridiculously long drive.
I realize it’s been ages since IU was at a Final Four. Those fucks are similar to Kentucky fucks. They TRAVEL. You might not be familiar with how scarily passionate IU fans are.
Efficient breach.I know yall hate Duke and that's cool. But what may go down, now between Duke and Miami (and I hope it does - I hope the lawsuit is fast and furious) could be landscape-altering for college football. And honestly, in a way that is desperately needed.
Miami just came in, paid $10mil, bought family a home or something, gave his sister a NIL deal, and are apparently acting like his current contract didn't have teeth (which apparently it does)? So Duke lawyers are already all over it. I hope it gets gross and ugly. Not because of us (Duke) but because college sports fucking SUCK and hell needs to hit hard
