Count is 2015 for Jeffries and 215 for Johnson...

no one voted present

How will the 2nd round turnout ?

Looks like a late GQPer has turned up to vote...

216 for Johnson and 2015 for Jeffries

It would be hilarious if they screwed up the "present" math and Jeffries were elected Speaker.
If it were to lock him in for two years as speaker then great. If it were only for a few days or so then no. The Dems would be obligated to certify the election upon election of their speaker. I had this discussion several weeks ago with a poster who didn't believe this scenario could play out.

The best that could happen is the GOP remain in limbo for a few days and throw Trump into a panic. That's worth seeing right there! And poetic justice considering Trump tried to screw with the certification last time.

Looks like Self, Norman and Massie are not supporting Johnson.

Tim Burchett on CNN says that if Johnson gets a quick vote now he will lose more votes and people will start considering Jordan or others … says no reflection on Trump either way.

Massie is an equal opportunity prick
Yeah, he seems to be a hard no, so all about Self and Norman. Though if Burchett is right, more may peel off in vote two if they can’t move those two.

Also saw a suggestion earlier today that if Dems start voting present (or take a walk) that will cost Johnson more GOP votes not willing to see him rely on Dem votes (or here no votes) to succeed again.

Vote is still open and pressure is for the two no votes to change their votes on this first ballot.

And Johnson gets 2 flips to be elected Speaker.

Oh well, good for him.
