So much misleading here … SBA loans typically requires a ton of documentation and certifications (including licenses, proof of citizenship and personal guarantees of business loans). PPP Loans waived a ton of these requirements and relied on certifications to rush cash into the pandemic economy.

Marco Rubio was widely understood to be the architect and promoter of PPP. The Trump Admin (esp. Steve Mnuchin) wrote the regulatory framework and revised it repeatedly (often illegally retroactively but no one was willing to challenge that in a state of emergency).

The Biden Admin continued and expanded the program and many ways was less interested and efficient in running it, TBH. But to blame Biden for this is laughable. And these claims are ignoring the actual plan was to take the risk of heightened fraud that the government would sort out later to pump over $750 billion into the economy over the course of days and weeks.

“… In March, U.S. District Judge John McConnell issued a preliminary injunction in favor of 23 states that sued the government over its plan to implement a broad pause to state aid. The Barack Obama appointee ruled that the plan “fundamentally undermines the distinct constitutional roles of each branch of our government,” and ordered the Trump administration to “immediately end any funding pause” until further notice.

But on Friday, McConnell found the Trump administration in breach of the court’s order. At least 19 states — all with Democratic attorney generals, and all of which had sued to stop the funding cuts — “presented undisputed evidence” that they were not receiving congressionally approved FEMA funding from the federal government, the judge ruled.

… The Trump administration had claimed that FEMA was merely implementing a new manual review process for allocated funding, which it says is allowed under the court’s injunction.

However, the states countered that they were missing a “substantial disbursement of funds” on the critical grants “since early February.” And McConnell ruled that, in effect, this amounts to an “indefinite pause.”

“Thus, FEMA’s manual review process violates the court’s preliminary injunction order,” the judge wrote in a 15-page order.

McConnell added the government appears to be withholding the funds “covertly” in accordance with President Donald Trump’s Jan. 20 executive order that, in part, ensures that sanctuary states don’t receive federal aid. …”

No we did not have that for the first 125 years, wow, are you blatantly lying? People that you don't know that are criminals can come in and cause harm. Proven fact. I feel like I have to dumb this down.

You ought to feel like you need an education. We did have open borders for an awfully long time. We also had about the same percentage of immigrants at the time of the Civil War as we do now.

You're the moron here. What percentage of crime here is committed by "illegals"? When is the last time an illegal committed a mass shooting? You are just scared of anyone that isn't a straight white Christian. You don't understand anything that is different, and you don't have the mental and emotional capacity to not be scared of anything that is different. And that fear makes you hate anything that is different. You and people like you keep this country from being as great as possible by worrying and fearing the dumbest shit that has no bearing on your actual life because you can't handle not being able to control anything that is outside the bubble you want your world to be.

Weird only those things came up when becoming President. And charges were dropped for "overturning the election" and mara a lago documents. Shows they were phony to begin with.
