That is interesting because I was always told that the majority of those in the FBI were conservative but, with some exceptions, the conservative agents were apolitical.

Every time I’ve been in or passed a break room in any federal building I’ve been in— whether it’s a courthouse or local headquarters of a federal law enforcement agency— Fox News is always on the TV.

lol, this is exactly what I suspected after reading that Fox “News” report and before seeing this tweet. It’s easy to read between the lines if you aren’t just looking for validation of what you hope is true.

Absolutely, and so many other things also fall in this category. America is resilient, so most of the country may not look terribly different when we emerge from this deplorable moment in our nation's history. But the institutions of government will be devastated, and ordinary Americans will find out the hard way how much value those institutions added to their lives.

I guess Fox News is hoping we just forget that the raid ended with the FBI finding exactly what they were looking for.

“But you haven’t seen all of this new evidence. Take a look.”
“My bad, this guy definitely killed his wife.”
Police raid the man’s home and find his dead wife with a knife with his fingerprints all over it buried in her chest.

Headline on Fox News five years later:
“Police doubted enough evidence to raid man’s home.”

They persuaded a Florida judge to sign off on the search warrant. If Fox or anyone else has an issue with the sufficiency of the evidence supporting probable cause, they should take it up with the judge, not DoJ or FBI or Garland or Biden.

Absolutely, and so many other things also fall in this category. When Obama left office in 2017 he let us know that Trump would test the strength of the institutions that are the foundation for our democratic republic. Not surprisingly, the GPOAT wasn't wrong.
