Yeah but those were brown and black people. They don't count for Elon.If there’s one thing Elon knows about, it’s how to make people dead through political choices.

FWIW, the FDNY Commissioner is not a "fire chief"....that is a separate position. The Commissioner is more of a "CEO" and is in charge of the business side of the department. The previous two FDNY commissioners also had no experience ever working as a firefighter and there was no outrage about that. In fact, I believe the majority of people appointed to that position have come from a non-fire background. Of course, that didn't matter as long as the appointees were straight. If there’s one thing Elon knows about, it’s how to make people dead through political choices.
I will refrain from comment on your friend out of respect for you.I have a good friend— and do I love the guy— who comes from considerable wealth. Not billionaire wealth, but never-have-to-stress-about-finances type of wealth. Needless to say, he has lived a life of privilege. When he graduated from college, he got his first job through his father’s connections. When he decided to leave that job to open up a restaurant, his parents provided the money to do that. His parents always bought him nice cars, dating back to when he could first drive at the age of 16, and he was always able to have very nice things thanks to his family money.
Anyway, when the topic of the plight of the less advantaged would come up, he would shrug it off and say how life isn’t fair and if you want a better life you just had to work hard for it, even though he never had to work to get most of the things he was privileged enough to have. When he made those arguments, I would point out he was born into privilege, and he would respond with things like, “Yes, but it’s not like I was born as Michael Jordan’s son. I wasn’t born into that kind of wealth. But you don’t hear me whining about life not being fair.”
It would help if some of them would drop out after losing in the qualifiers.Yeah...Trump is definitely "supporting the arts".
The entirety of Conservatism has been reduced to "who can tell the most ridiculous lies".
