How much are you willing to pay for chicken? Steak? Ground beef? Pork chops?

Fresh fruit? Fresh veggies? Frozen veggies?

To make agriculture jobs attractive to Americans, the pay has to go up AND working conditions and safety standards must improve.

You know its possible to solve problems without over exaggerating existing ones. We can still deport and control our borders while maintaining the workforce. No one is recommending get rid of every single illegal immigrant in a week. We can create a organized process. But its better for you to create doomsday scenarios because the left is constantly undermining our society.

Let me know when Trump or the GOP produce an immigration and/or guest worker law.

Trump, Trumplicans, and GOP employers in meat processing, agriculture, roofing, construction, etc. WANT undocumented immigrants as workers. Why? They lower wages.

There are simply many jobs that Americans either see as below them, don't feel they pay enough, or are too physically demanding. The farmers and other employers are not bypassing Americans to hire immigrants; Americans are not applying for the jobs. If Americans are not applying then the jobs cannot be stolen from them.

No one implied any such thing. Your wild imagination made that false assumption.

It's not a matter of what people can work in many cases; it's a matter of what people are willing to do. Most immigrants are very willing to do hard dirty jobs that might go unfilled otherwise.

Not until there is reform in our immigration laws that allow immigrants to work, while waiting for their hearing, drive, and have other basic functionality, legally, without the constant fear of being locked up and shipped off to El Salvador without due process. We need to also properly staff the courts to ensure that the hearings are timely and they don't end up stranded here waiting for years without a hearing. There's lots of work to be done to fix immigration, but it will not happen under trump, he's too interested in the fox news talking points and keeping the problem for political reasons. He proved that when he had his cult followers vote no on a bill that they wrote, because he didn't want Biden to get a win.
