So what does this say about the 2nd amendment? Can we use the same argument that the country is in a different place today and should do things differently?

Seats are added or lost based on population. Flooding sanctuary states with millions of illegals and then counting them in the census adds more congressional seats. How is that not rigging the system? What is the logic in counting them when they can't vote? For purposes of voter representation they might as well be gold fish because like gold fish they can't vote. So no logical reason to count them in the census to determine the number of congressional seats.

Then tell Texas to stop sending their immigrants to blue states.

It's not rigging because you show no data to show a disproportionate number in blue states as well as you have provided no data showing that they all vote Democrat.

If there's an equal distribution and an equal split in viewing then this mythical voting block you speak of is null.

We already do things differently. We have significantly more gun laws than we had then. We have background checks, permits, etc.

I usually ignore the Board’s snide remarks about my good friend but I will comment that I have no idea why he made such a bad photo. He couldn’t have made a worse photo if he tried. He’s always well dressed and put together and still wears dark suits 4 days a week. I’ve discussed this with my family and our mutual friends and none of us have a clue. What look was he trying to project- discheveled angry guy? Why didn’t he wear a suit when he turned himself in instead of a t shirt under a casual shirt? Comb his hair? Have a neutral expression? No one can figure it out. I’ve never discussed this with him since, at this time, what’s the point? So I get it: it’s a bad photo allowing you to have a good laugh.

My colleague is very well respected by the judiciary in the State with numerous allies on the state and appellate courts. The best part is that this terrible ordeal is almost over for him and his family. Plus, based upon a statute passed by the legislature last session, the state is going to reimburse him and the other defendants for their substantial attorney’s fees once the matter is finalized.

The problem is all this fraud that you pretend exist. You use it as a crutch to make it harder for people who have every legal right to vote.

Every study I've read states that there isn't significant enough fraud to make any difference. You do not answer questions or provide evidence of the voting hobbits that you claim every immigrant will adhere to, even though it's been pointed out that your premise doesn't align with the results of the last election. Unless, of course, your admitting that the trump administration with Elon managed to cheat to obtain the votes in those demographics. You also haven't supported your position that there are more immigrants in Blue states illegally voting. Which really wouldn't make any difference as those states are already blue. It would make more sense if the illegal voting was in red states if they are all voting dem.

But you provide no support, just simple fox new type statements like an old man yelling at clouds.

You are smarter than that. Provide some evidence of all the things that would have to work in unison to make your hypothesis a reality. Until then it's the myth that the data shows.

I say these things because I do not hate you or @Ramrouser or any other conservative. I just wish that the leadership of your party would grow a set and find a better representative than the orange turd and that the leadership of both parties would realize that their jobs are to lead and to make life better for everyone. NOT to keep stupid shit stirred up via lies lies and more lies so that the rich get richer and the wage and wealth gaps in this country continue to group unchecked.

Anyway, have a nice weekend. I have a very busy, not enjoyable weekend ahead, so I doubt I'll have any time for posting.

By placing some accountability on people to vote. Voting is a privilege. Not a requirement. That tired excuse is bullshit. If people want to drive they get an Id. If people get g'ment benefits they have some form of ID. We require a lot of things in our society. Requiring an ID is trivial, especially if you make it free. If voting isn't important enough for someone to get a free ID then I don't want them voting.

And it should be a requirement.

We have so much technology, facial recognition, biometrics, etc. that voting shouldn't be an issue. We should be able to vote from our phones and everyone that is of age and legally allowed to vote should be required to vote.

There are countries who make voting a requirement for those of legal age, or face a fine. Australia for one but others as well.
