Yep. Zen is on Super Ignore. I never see anyone's direct response to him, no matter how good it is. All I see is a gap in the post count. I'm left to assume that Zen, HY, Calla, or some other MAGA has posted something idiotic. Then, others have taken their troll bait and responded to them. I see none of it.

Know this, you will NEVER convince a troll of your position, no matter how factual and/or righteous. They're not here to intellectually discuss topics of the day. They're here to troll and "own the libs." You are wasting your time and confusing everyone else who has had the good sense to personally ban them.

If you feel the need to rebut their clowning in a way that everyone can see, DON'T quote them. Write a new post calling out the particulars of what they've written. That way, we can understand what you wrote without wallowing in MAGA pig poop. Ultimately, they will lose interest and go elsewhere. The ultimate benefits of posting over quoting are that we might learn something, AND threads won't be MAGA-jacked.
I would argue one point: DO INDEED quote them so superignore can do its job.

At least 161 missing and 109 dead in catastrophic Texas flooding, governor says

“…
When asked Tuesday who is to blame for the deadly, catastrophic flooding, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott called that type of language “the word choice of losers.”

Every football team makes mistakes. The losing teams are the ones that try to point out who’s to blame” he said.

“The way winners talk is not to point fingers. They talk about solutions. What Texas is all about is solutions.”…”

——
No one in Texas EVER points fingers at the QB or coach after a loss. Unheard of!

And a crass comparison at a time they just announced an 8-fold increase in missing people and death toll continuing to rise. Counties adjacent to Kerr that also suffered flooding didn’t have the casualties … but did have county emergency plans.

I wonder if Mack Brown would agree with Greg Abbott.

And I wonder if Greg Abbott has ever met a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Supreme Court Clears Way for Mass Firings at Federal Agencies
The Trump administration had asked the justices to block a lower court’s ruling that paused the largest phase of the president’s efforts to downsize the government.

“… The order, which lifted a lower court’s ruling that had blocked mass layoffs, was unsigned and did not include a vote count, which is typical in such emergency applications. Justice Ketanji Brown JacksonBr wrote a public dissent.

The case represents a key test extent of President Trump’s power to reorganize the government without input from Congress. The justices’ order is technically only temporary, guiding a how the administration can proceed while the challenge to Mr. Trump’s plans continues. But in practice, it means he is free to pursue his plans, even if judges later determine that they exceed presidential power.
8-1. Sotomayor calls out Brown for her dissent.

13th Supreme Court victory in last 6 months!

And ... using a sports analogy when over a hundred people died? Winning vs losing?
Abbott, you're already a loser.

1. Automatic stabilizers that also increase health and welfare should be the last resort, not the first one.
2. If you have to cut automatic stabilizers, don't do it at the outset of a recession.
Without specifics on how much money this would save, if any, there isn't much to say.
3. I know this is going to sound radical . . . but raising taxes is a much better solution to the fiscal imbalance for a number of reasons. Most GOP tax expenditures are comically inefficient from a cost-benefit analysis. Not all, but most.
4. Don't expand ICE. Cut it back dramatically. We are literally pouring money down the drain with these deportations.
The cuts to ICE, the only intentional spending cut you suggested, will do nothing by itself, But I agree with not increasing the budget.

Other than that, it's take more from Americans while maintaining the government status quo.

Maybe the proper phrase should have been - summarize their "position" without quoting them (i.e. "a MAGA on this thread suggested Trump is playing 23-D chess with the economy"). Hedge is a master of this technique. That way, we have context for the discussion without unfiltered nonsense or excessive gaps in the thread.

Imagine being such an insufferable know it all prick that your entire family and everyone that knows you loathes you.

You are no better than the MAGA crowd.

Just on the LOSING side.

You’ve been wrong your entire life and you are wrong now.

Enjoy the new “Golden Age!”

Oh…3.5 more years you fucking assclown.
Wow, that's got to be a record. One post and Super Ignored. Congrats!

Imagine having so little going on in your life that you continually make new aliases to troll a board of people who want nothing to do with you (much like, one assumes, your family).

Pathetic It doesn't even begin to cover it

lol.

Been waiting for the perfect opportunity to drop that bomb on me, huh? After countless angry, rage-filled days obsessing over my posts in the warm embrace of either Pack Pride or The Tar Pit, you finally worked up the courage to really let me have it.

And after all that planning, all those late night diabetic-induced fever-pitched sessions preparing to craft the perfect insult, the best you could come up with is to parody my screen name and drop a few curses at me?

Well-played, playa. Hope it was worth it.

It was the latest in a series of recent victories for the Trump administration before the Supreme Court on emergency requests related to the president’s efforts to rapidly reshape government.…”

Too bad Thurgood Marshall's seat was shamed by the most corrupt Supreme Court Justice ever. Ms. Jackson is a proud homage to the legacy of Mr. Civil Rights.

Exactly, how does one support cutting Medicaid because of the cost yet not have a problem with the expansion of ICE.

Considering the mask, I suspect that many of the new hires are J6th pardoned Sad, I mean proud, Boys.

Imagine being stupid enough to believe that programs like Medicaid, the ACA, or (gasp!) even universal health care would be detrimental to our economy.

That’s next level stupidity to believe keeping your populace (consumers) healthy and with more money in their pockets because of affordable, quality healthcare would be anything other than an economic boon.
But the Republicans have figured out how to get people to vote against this, which is actually in their best interest, for decades.

Sotomayor did no such thing, unless by calling out you mean agreeing with. The first sentence of her one paragraph concurrence was "I agree with JUSTICE JACKSON that the President cannot restructure federal agencies in a manner inconsistent with congressional mandates."

These are not Supreme Court victories. A victory is a decided case. An unexplained stay, issued despite the government failing to meet any of the relevant stay factors, is just corruption.

Moreover, Sotomayor's vote was strategic. Since the stay was going to be lifted, she voted with the majority to make it appear stronger than a dissent. Hey, I'm voting this way because the Court is not addressing the unlawful downsizing of agencies right now.
