No one in Texas EVER points fingers at the QB or coach after a loss. Unheard of!

And a crass comparison at a time they just announced an 8-fold increase in missing people and death toll continuing to rise. Counties adjacent to Kerr that also suffered flooding didn’t have the casualties … but did have county emergency plans.

Asinine response by Abbott but also asking that question when kids are still missing and rescue efforts are still underway seems intentionally inflammatory and in bad taste IMO.

Kinda like we can’t talk about gun laws in the aftermath of a mass shooting? I get that media tend to turn to the question of who failed in most tragedies but when is it OK to start raising questions? I don’t know the answer but lean toward I would rather ask too soon than too late.

The cuts to ICE, the only intentional spending cut you suggested, will do nothing by itself, But I agree with not increasing the budget.

Other than that, it's take more from Americans while maintaining the government status quo.

Taxes were higher the last time we had a budget surplus and the economy was very strong. Why not raise taxes?
If you look at the five or six biggest contributors to our deficit after Clinton balanced the budget, I’m pretty sure Bush’s tax cuts and Trump’s tax cuts are among them.

Seems in this case the question was raised before the catastrophe. For some reason TX politicians could not get it done. Fat cats too busy marking Trump's leg?
