Pick the word you like. When you pick that word, we can continue with the question I asked which whether or not we track crimes by any other psychological (insert word of your choosing).

Do we track crime statistics for people with Aspergers? People who have a fear of spiders? People with extreme anxiety?

Gay people had to deal with the same claims when gay rights groups began tracking violence against gay men back in the day, when being gay was considered a psychological disorder (I believe that changed in the DSM in 1972 or 1973).

But we do track crime rates against (and by) schizophrenic Americans, and suicide rates of people suffering from Depression, for instance.

1. Don't tell me about DSM. You have no idea what that volume contains or even its purpose.
2. You won't find stomach ulcers in a textbook about heart surgery either. That doesn't mean it's not physical. It just means that doctors specialize.
3. Many of the conditions listed in DSM are not "psychiatric" in origin. Endocrine disorders, for instance, are what you would call "physical" but can have profound psychiatric effects. There's a reason why psychiatrists have to be MDs.

When my wife gets a new patient, the first thing she does is order blood work. Why? Why would she do that for a psychological condition? Because they aren't distinct. My wife will also sometimes order some enzyme metabolism analyses, though that depends on what insurance will pay for. But again, not just prescribing an SSRI, is it?

Also, the difference is we are not protecting criminals. The right has a monopoly on that just look at the history of trump pardons, all are actual criminals. Some attacked our capital and police. Others are just fraudsters, like trump.

One last thing, why didn't you respond to the belief that we shouldn't allow fellons to run for office, since NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!!?

The World Health Organization has amended its classification of transgender health issues.

Transgender health issues will no longer be classified as mental and behavioural disorders under big changes to the World Health Organization's global manual of diagnoses.

The newly-approved version instead places issues of gender incongruence under a chapter on sexual health.

A World Health Organization expert said it now understands transgender is "not actually a mental health condition".
