Yeah, I think this "spat" between Trump and Putin is a manufactured ruse...

Trump: Hey Vlad this is Donald. I've been catching sh*t from everyone here and being called your bitch because I have been sucking your dick on supporting your position when it comes to invading and annexing Ukraine

Putin : I suggest we create a pretend conflict between the two of us. You can express anger and threaten us with sanctions and sending weapons to Ukraine and we will respond with anger and threaten you. This will distract the media and your opponents, and it will be touted by your supporters that you really are a tough guy when it comes to Russia.

Trump: I love it. It's a win win for you and me !

According to the linked article, St. Donald of Mar-a-Lago was in a meeting with, among others, the President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai. After President Boakai spoke at this meeting, St. Donald complimented him on his mastery of English and inquired as to where he had learned English. What an idiot. I seriously doubt that any of St. Donald's advisors apprised him of the fact that the President of a county where English was the official language would probably be quite fluent in English. In fact, the only country where English is the most common spoken language that has a political leader who struggles with English is the United States.

I am offcially establishing the over/under on how many votes this will cost Paxton among his Evangelical Christian voters at . . . ZERO. What I predict, even if every sordid fact in this long-running political trainwreck spills out on the front page of every newspaper in Texas, is that the Texas Conservative Evangelicals will collectively wipe a tear from their eyes and think, "Ken, he really is one of us."
