Pretty pathetic, and frankly humiliating as hell, that we are spending that kind of money on harassing the people who pick our crops and clean our toilets and build our houses, but I’m guessing we won’t hear a peep out of our resident “fiscal” “conservatives” nor our recreational contrarians. Too many transgender folks out there doing weird shit like existing and things of that nature!

We can’t pay for Paw Paw and Uncle Jeb who got their hands blown off in Nam to have health care or veterans benefits anymore, and we can’t pay for poor kids to eat $0.75 breakfasts and lunches at school anymore, but hey! What are ya gonna do, am I right!? Those mean brown people who will gladly work for $7/hr and no benefits simply must not be allowed to stay!

I realize this is Marxist as fuck of me, but it seems like we should only deport the ones who commit actual crimes in our country and who aren’t actively contributing to making our country better for pennies on the dollar.

Yep. Texas is full of disgusting GOP politicians - both Abbott and Cruz are noteworthy examples - but Paxton may seriously be the lowest of the low. Which is exactly why Republicans there love him so much and will likely send him to the US Senate next year. Evangelicals stopped caring about divorce a long time ago, unless it's a Democrat who is divorced, then they're all over it. And they clearly don't care if their political favorites cheat on their wives either. Probably because so many of them are moral hypocrites in some way as well, or at least they certainly don't practice what they preach and try to enforce for everybody else.
