But that's not what MTG is talking about, so why defend her?
But cloud seeding IS used to control the weather. It is not chem trails, but it would be banned by Marg's bill.

Here is what we do in SoCal to make it rain more:

They are trying to make it snow more in the winter in the mountains, so that the watershed will have more runoff and water available in the summer. IN the 1970s, cloud seeding was used to attempt to mitigate hurricanes - they were largely ineffective. I assume the Santa Ana project was designed to maximize reservoir levels. Unintended consequences could be (1) too much foliage as tinder for fire. (2) Secondly, cloud seeding to increase precipitation in one area could adversely affect rainfall amounts downstream of prevailing winds.

We could fight CC instead by investing in Clean Energy and a massive hydrogen/fusion initiative to move away from fossil fuels used for power plant energy production.

umm, have you seen some of the folks on this very board who attended UNC?
Lololol. Yeah. I am always amused when people act like UNC is some far left place when in any given year something between ~92-94 of NC’s 100 counties are represented in the incoming class. I don’t need to remind anyone what the overwhelming majority of those 92-94 counties are like- and I say that as someone who is originally from one of such.

Ok, thanks for the information.

Is this what MTG is going after with her bill?

You sound far too rational for this discussion. Not going to get any products sold on Alex Jones with that kind of approach.

In the same way that the anti-vaxers were trying to stop Bill Gates from implanting microchips.

Like all conspiracy theorists, the chemtrail folks have a germ of truth behind them. The problem is that they misconstrue the truth to further their conspiracy beliefs. But yes, MTG’s bill would ban cloud seeding like the cited project.

Thanks, I did know of cloud seeding, but I thought that she was more going after the conspiracy type "Weather" controls. I didn't know enough about cloud seeding to see an actual connection.

At this point I think we have to safely assume that not only is Trump the primary kiddie diddler as Epstein‘s right hand man, but also that he paid for countless abortions as a result. The only way we can disprove this is to release the files, Maga!!!!
The only reason the Trump administration wouldn't release these files is because Trump is listed in them. Right?

<In my best, snotty-nosed Tucker Carlson voice> Hey, I just asking questions here!

So, God decided to kill little girls in religious camp and limited state preparation by Abbott, lack of local warning systems, and an understaffed NWS.
There's no evidence that there were staff shortages. The warning went out 3 hours before the flood.

“The WFOs [weather forecasting offices] had adequate staffing and resources as they issued timely forecasts and warnings leading up to the storm,” Fahy said Saturday

It is undisputed that there were staff shortages. The dispute is over whether that impacted the forecast.

It did impact and constrain the ability of NWS to put out timely warnings and get everything distributed.
