Yeah but the trade war is putting increasing pressure on this ever simmering issue — China has been sounding particularly belligerent about supporting Pakistan at a time when India is seeking as much leverage as possible to move manufacturing jobs from China to India (albeit India may be playing both sides by tariff washing Chinese goods through India, as well).
