Trump’s universal desire to blame Biden for everything creates some interesting new policy for the GOP to grapple with … yeah, the Biden Administration was cautious about doing business with a former Al Qaeda leader and sought to hold the Saudis accountable for torture murdering Jamal Khashoggi … which apparently was disrespectful in Trump’s view.
 
Jfc. His idiocy on display during COVID was jaw dropping. This Middle East press conference may be his stupidest, from a pure content standpoint. Holy shit. Multiple mentions of his reality show transportation secretary climbing trees? Doesn’t like stealth bc it’s ugly? Flat out cozying up to the head of a huge branch of Al Qaeda?

If it wasn’t for his COVID press conferences likely resulting in tens of thousands of excess deaths, I’d say this is the most addled brain, ignorant, and dopey series of comments ever strung together by a US president.

I wish more service members could perceive the disdain Trump holds for them. Of course he doesn't care about stealth. What are fighter pilots for if not getting blown out of the sky? What are infantry for if not charging into battle with bayonets?

The irony is that Trump wants a Putin style military strategy, apparently under the delusion that Russia acquitted itself well in Ukraine.

That opinion is about 900% longer than it needs to be. I would have more sympathy for district courts complaining of excessively heavy case loads if they would stop writing 100 page opinions when a 10 page opinion would suffice.

I used to teach my students: if you want to learn to write, pay no attention to judicial opinions (except Posner). Read the briefs. Judicial opinions are terrible because they can be. It's even worse in corporate law. Delaware's chancery court is pretty good at what it does, but damn do they get paid by the word? So many 100+ page opinions when half as many would more than suffice.
