There's some systems that have serious abuse of overtime rules so that senior employees are allowed to boost their last few earning years to increase SS and pension benefits and sometimes make more in overtime than standard pay. I'll say this as one who voted straight Pub in every election before 2016. 1/6 was a turning point. I will never, ever, ever vote for a Republican after (1) what happened that day, and (2) what the Republican Party did to whitewash it and cover it up.
