Given that he issued an executive order as soon as he took office in January rolling back nearly all of Biden's initiatives to lower prescription drug costs - such as Biden's efforts to lower the price of Medicare and Medicaid prescriptions - I'm very dubious as to how much he really intends to do about this.

In all fairness, the upgraded AF1 is waaaaay behind schedule and over budget. The preference is to have three AF1 jets available (it is only AF1 if POTUS is aboard) to allow for rotation for repairs etc. so we were probably going to pay to retrofit something no matter what because Boeing is years from delivering the one ordered during the first Trump Admin. But also in fairness, even if you get over questions about a free long-term use on loan of this aircraft as a gift from a foreign country and if you can ever be certain it is free of clandestine surveillance devices, the reported structure of this deal to benefit Trump’s personal post-presidential use is obscene.
Maybe if Boeing actually adhered to their quality control protocols instead of pumping out faulty products in effort to maximize profits, things would be different.

Not really sure what “woke Seattle” is doing to Boeing. Boeings main location is in Everett, about 45 mins north of Seattle and provides it with a ton of resources and blue collar workers. They got a nice airport opened right next to their facility too basically for them. I used to see a ton of Boeing employees as patients when i worked over there…it’s a shit company that works its people into the ground. 19 days on then 2 off.
