I don't really see how Mexico has any say regarding how Google operates in the US.

Mexico sues Google over 'Gulf of America' name change

Depends on how much Google depends on international profits and how much influence Mexico has. If it affects Goggle's bottom line enough, then they have influence. Pretty sure we can rule out any sort of morality as one of Google's driving forces.

Right, Mexico might try to leverage revenue to force Google to change, but it doesn't have any legal authority over how Google operates in the US, though it apparently believes it has legal authority, hence the lawsuit.

Whether or not they have that authority depends on what the court says and not your opinion ,fwiw. I don't see it, either, but you're being a bit presumptive.

ETA: At the very least. this is a good way to put their theory out to the public.

So many problems here. Start with: if Mexico thought it had the legal authority, it would just act upon that authority. It wouldn't be submitting an action as a plaintiff in federal court. Lots of people sue in federal court. They do not generally think they have any "authority." They think that the court has the authority to interpret the law and apply the law in their favor.

Also, do you even know what forum they chose? They could sue in Mexican court as an enforcement action. It doesn't sound as if that's what they are doing, but we don't know.

I swear, man, every time you try to play lawyer, you end up making such a fool of yourself. You are at the zenith of your buffoonery when you try to cosplay a law student.

You realize that the AF1 that the other country is illegally gifting....I mean providing....was built by Boeing, right?
Obviously, the competent Boeing of a few years ago. Not the current Boeing whose equipment left two astronauts stranded in space only to be rescued by Space X.

Not really sure what “woke Seattle” is doing to Boeing. Boeings main location is in Everett, about 45 mins north of Seattle and provides it with a ton of resources and blue collar workers. They got a nice airport opened right next to their facility too basically for them. I used to see a ton of Boeing employees as patients when i worked over there…it’s a shit company that works its people into the ground. 19 days on then 2 off.
Thanks for the information. What do you see as the current issue with Boeing? They're on a bad streak.
