This mission 1) "defends our homeland", 2) "removes narco-terrorists from our hemisphere", and 3) "secures our homeland from the drugs that are killing our people".

Well, I for one am comforted that we've set ourselves discrete objectives that can be demonstrably proven to have been accomplished using objective measures. Thank goodness we'll be able to know exactly when we've won and are ready to hang the "Mission Accomplished" banner.

Because, of course to do otherwise would be to repeat the disastrous mistakes of the Bush Jr. administration, and of course nobody wants that. Don't worry folks, we're in good hands here.
 


Skandalakis is a conservative anti-tax Republican (he was a moderate in the 1990s) who was previously disbarred for lying to the FBI, but he eventually got his law license back.

So the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia includes a guy who was disbarred for lying to the FBI. And we’re supposed to take them seriously?

No idea how he got elected to that post but yeah. After doing time, the dude worked at a Wafflehouse for a while until he could get reinstated to the bar.

Anyway, I assume he appointed himself to drop the charges but I don’t know what his actual angle might be, so we’ll have to wait and see what he does.

It really is incredible what the right is willing to look past for a huckster conman.

I kinda wish I had visited some right wing boards in the past (actually I don't) and viewed the activity on there just to compare things. I'd imagine they would have been flooded with maybe 3-4 subjects - OPEN BORDERS - TRANS - SLEEPY JOE - Edited to add DEI

Hell, they can take a story about a trans athlete finishing 5th in one event and get years worth of news out of it.

Trump out there sharing some month-old “good news” like becoming visas of people who allegedly “celebrated” Charlie Kirk’s murder. He’s flailing at the moment to change the subject — but, TBF, he usually figures out how eventually.
