Indeed. Unfortunately for Donnie, anyone who is not already in the cult isn't going to be impressed with an attractive bleach blonde lady telling them that what they can see with their own eyes (and feel with their own pocketbook) isn't really happening, it's just fake news. Inflation and a faltering economy can't be covered up by just having good looking people straight up lying on camera. And I suspect that even some in the cult won't believe it, although they'll continue to follow Dear Leader like a lemming, as that's what cults do.

Our struggle to handle violent mentally ill people is real and long overdue for serious overhaul. About 30 years ago I did a legal internship representing the mentally ill at Manhattan Psych on Wards Island. Shortly before I arrived, a patient who had been granted a day pass (NY judges rotated through a makeshift court at the asylum every week to provide access to legal representation without having to move the patients, many of whom were involuntarily committed and had long and often violent criminal histories) walked onto a subway platform and pushed a random person in front of an oncoming train.I'm sure this story was posted, but what does it take to get put into prison or a mental health facility indefinitely?
