If she believes that all viewpoints should be taught then why is she part of Trump 2.0's charge to force universities to teach only what they tell them to? And of course that's bullshit anyway. It's simply appalling that in the year 2025 we have a former professional wrestling CEO running the Department of Education while trying to literally shut down her own department and lecturing colleges and public school systems on topics that she literally knows nothing about.

They believe it's ok if hypothetically they can claim that people who vote for the other party would support it if the roles were reversed.

Such a load of shit. We would not super it from our party just as we don't support it from the Republican Party, because it is wrong. No matter who does it.

I will say that this dude is persistent as hell, I'll give him that. This is easily the fifth or sixth poster name he's used here in just a few weeks. And his posting style never changes - always angry, in-your-face, foam-at-the-mouth bile at anybody who isn't a full-blown member of MAGA Nation. I'm sure he will return yet again within a few days, fulminating against board liberals he obviously hates so much. Kind of pitiful, really.

I thought from the beginning that they would eventually have a serious falling out for that very reason. Although Trump isn't smart enough to do it, I also wondered if some in Trump 2.0 saw Elon as a useful tool to make the Project 2025 cuts they wanted and he could take all the heat and was thus expendable. Unfortunately their falling out isn't going to help matters much, as Elon actually wants even more drastic cuts to the budget than Trump or Congressional Republicans (hard as that is to believe) and so he may be even worse, if that's possible, than Dear Leader. It's not like he's going to become a useful ally (or even just a Trump enemy) for Democrats - if Elon's plans are enacted they'll make things even worse for average Americans than Trump probably will, as incredible as that sounds.

In any event, it appears that Trump may be scrambling to try to change the subject from Elon’s scorched earth broadsides against the GOP budget bill and maybe issues with trade policy and foreign policy — I think Trump intended to pursue this regardless, but the timing of this and his travel ban seem like a hey, look over here distraction …
