Really, do you actually believe that drowning is a logical comparison to being eaten?

As for your second statement, we will never know. If anyone is eaten and it gets out, it will be a failed escape attempt. Even if they helped him try to escape.

Post like this make me believe that you are often very high when posting.
Again, nobody is being FED to alligators.

If they’re so full of shit then how come America was made great again between 2017 and 2021 and made great again again as of 2025 after being made not great again between 2021 and 2025 for the first time since 2016 when America was not as great as it had been during the times it was great before becoming great again for the next time and the time after that after not being great for a few years between periods of being great again and again?
"I think that all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not! But I'm sick and tired of being told that I am!"

My neighbor is Mormon and returned from his 2 year mission in Brazil a few months ago. Since he grew up in the US, in an English speaking family, he didn't speak a word of Portuguese.

Before he left on his mission, he did a multi-month, emersive course to learn Portuguese.

He didn't move to Brazil and expect Brazil to pay to teach him Portuguese.
Actually, many countries do just that. Here in Portugal, there is a government-funded immersive class 5 days a week, 4 hours a day, for 9 months, offered 3 times daily, that also pays a daily stipend of €2 for coffee and pastry during the break. It totals over €300 paid out during the course. At the end of the class, you will be certified at the B-2 level and be able to get residency and be on your way to citizenship. So your friend just went to the wrong country to learn Portuguese.

Edited to add: Just saw where another poster had basically the same thing in Brazil, LMAO.

Any of our “””””fiscal conservatives”””” or, in particular, our resident “”””libertarian”””” contrarian who claims to care about frivolous government spending above all else, want to weigh in on this?

You know of a better way to crash our agricultural industry?

I'm incredibly skeptical of the math done by "Global Firepower", the fact that there's no link to find out what is included in the calculations and the reference to "ICE fund", not "budget" but, if true, that is ridiculous.

Edit: I'm skeptical of Time also, but they're showing a much different number:

Bill would pour $100 billion into ICE and border enforcement

In terms of immigration, the bill stands to significantly expand the capabilities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).

ICE’s current annual budget is around $10 billion. Under the version of the bill that passed the Senate, the agency would receive an infusion of more than $100 billion through 2029: $45 billion for detention facilities, $46 billion for border wall operations in the U.S.-Mexico border and $14 billion for deportation operations.

Agreed. You don’t have to take the word of whatever the hell “Global Firepower” is. You can simply read the Senate’s budget bill, see that there is $170 billion allocated for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), then go a swift little Google search, and find out what are the annual military/defense budgets of some of our biggest/closest allies: Germany ($88.5B), UK ($74B), France ($65B), and Japan ($55B).

Yah, I would like to see a more secure border and for us to be more selective on who we let in but that much of an increase is ridiculous.

Some Republican nut job is posting about “the massive Federal Healthcare fraud being exposed “ and how it’s funny the Democrats are silent on it. Seems like everyone is silent on it. Any clue on what he’s lying about?

Guess this is it. National Health Care Fraud Takedown Results in 324 Defendants Charged in Connection with Over $14.6 Billion in Alleged Fraud
I guess his position is these were all Democrats. My guess would be most of these people are Republicans.
Hopefully they are all prosecuted, I don't care what party they are in, they should pay for their crimes.

Of course it is fraud, they may be required to run for president as a republican.

Seriously how can any republican even use the word fraud after electing a man convicted of fraud.
