“…
the U.S. delegate took the meeting in a new direction. She spent her allotted three minutes reminding the world that the United States now had a “national position” on a single word in the documents establishing the panel: gender.

“Use of the term ‘gender’ replaces the biological category of sex with an ever-shifting concept of self-assessed gender identity and is demeaning and unfair, especially to women and girls,” the delegate told the U.N. in June.

The Trump administration is pushing its anti-trans agenda on a global stage, repeatedly objecting to the word “gender” in international resolutions and documents. During at least six speeches before the U.N., U.S. delegates have denounced so-called “gender ideology” or reinforced the administration’s support for language that “recognizes women are biologically female and men are biologically male.”…”

Moldova is having a so far bloodless revolution against Russian influence in Moldova with elections upcoming. They also replaced (sort of nationalized) the Gazprom affiliate in Moldova and have taken a number of other actions to fight Russian influence over their next election, governance and economy.

MAGA is terrible for this country and especially its future.
He really does seem to genuinely hate wind energy for some bizarre reason. He keeps complaining that windmills are dangerous and make too much noise and all sorts of other crap. He has the oddest obsessions and pet hates, and wind energy seems to be one of them. Meanwhile other nations are reaping the benefits of wind power. MAGA seems intent on having us fall further and further behind the rest of the world by keeping us chained to dinosaur energy sources like coal while the rest of the world moves to electric cars, wind and solar power, and other innovative energy sources. The rest of the world will be driving electric vehicles made in China or Germany or Japan, and we'll still be driving gas-powered monster SUVs and pickup trucks, all because MAGAs are terrified of change in anything. Americans used to be the world's great innovators, but with MAGA slicing our research to the bone and passing all of these restrictive laws and regulations on innovative technologies, not anymore.

“… Brian [Moynihan of Bank of America] was kissing my ass when I was president and when I called him after I was president to deposit a billion dollars plus and a lot of other things more importantly to open accounts which banks always like they like accounts because they get interest free you know the overnights and things a lot of reasons for it but you know they like accounts I had hundreds of accounts and he said uh we can’t do it no we can’t do it. So I went to another one another one another one … I ended up going to small banks all over the place…”

It goes way back to 2006 when he purchased the Menie estate in Aberdeen, Scotland. He planned to build the golf course he just opened... but there were already plans in place to construct an offshore wind farm, which he objected to, because he didn't want them to infringe on the views from his precious golf course. He battled the construction all through the Scottish courts and eventually the UK supreme court and lost. And he's been throwing a tantrum ever since.

He's a giant toddler.

Good. Take those 5 seats in Texas. Dems can take 52 in California, 17 in Illinois, and so on...

This interview is jaw dropping. I am trying to put clips in relevant threads but holy cow.
